FAQ

  • First, don’t put your knife in the dishwasher. The heat and all of your other dishes bouncing around is pretty terrible for your knife (any knife, really). After using your knife, simply clean with a non abrasive cloth and soap. Once clean, dry your knife and put it away. Nice and easy. To keep your knife sharp, simply hone your edge with a high quality kitchen steel. We prefer ceramic, but your grandmother’s steel will work just fine. Do us a favor, and try to stay away from those diamond hones that come with big box store kitchen knife sets, they’re the worst! Finally, don’t put your knife in that daggum dishwasher!

  • Returns are on a case by case basis. Custom orders cannot be returned. Some premade items can be returned in unused condition minus any and all incurred shipping costs. If you have used your item, please message to discuss the possibility of a return.

  • If your item was damaged from normal use, I will be happy to remedy the damage. If you damaged your item from poor use (i.e. hacking into a tree with your chef knife) I will be happy to fix your “oopsie poopsie” for a fee. Message me with details and we will get you squared away.

  • Feel free to reach out thru the contact page to inquire about the abailablity, or wait list for custom orders.

  • Your knife has been built for the long haul. With proper care, your knife will last a lifetime. The edge, however, will need care from time to time. If you find that your knife is dull, and you aren’t able to get it back to the hair popping edge you are used to, message me and I’d be happy to redo the edge for a nominal fee.
